These icons can be imported into Avenza PDF Maps. A Pro Account is required.

Once an icon is loaded once it will be permanently available for use unless you delete it.

To change the icon of a placemark go into its settings by tapping on the pin, the 'i', and then tap the icon.

If you have suggestions for additional icons, email me at matt.snyder@alaskafiremaps.com. If it is a piece of equipment or crew logo, send a good image as well. Anything can potentially become an Avenza icon.

 iOS Instructions

1. Click the Download link above.

2. Select "Open in PDF Maps" or "Open in..." to show the menu below and "Open in PDF Maps".

 Android Instructions

1. Click the Download link above to download to your Internal Storage.

2. Open any map in the Avenza PDF Maps App.

3. Select "Placemark Properties".  

4. Select "Import".

5. Select "From Device Storage".

6. Select "Back to Internal Storage".

7. Select your "Download" folder.

8. Select the "Fire_Icons_For_PDF_Maps.kmz" file.
